Implementing P4 projects in real hardware

Hello,

I aim to implement the projects that I have been testing on Mininet and bmv2 switches on real hardware.
However, I am not well-versed on which ones are the most adequate hardware to perform my tests.

Can someone recommend or provide some guidance on how to pass from virtual testing to real testing? e.g.
What type of FPGA or Raspberry Pi could I use? any specific model? etc. etc.

• The switches with Tofino ASIC supports the P4 Language
• Then you have the P4PI project GitHub - p4lang/p4pi: P4 on Raspberry Pi for Networking Education
• Then you have P4 DPDK GitHub - p4lang/p4-dpdk-target: P4 driver SW for P4 DPDK target.
• Then Intel, Nvidia, AMD ( Pensando and Xilinx) latest generation smart nics (called also IPU or DPU) support P4.
